Mike represents clients in a wide array of commercial and civil matters involving breach of contract, breach of warranty, construction defect, breach of fiduciary duties, landlord-tenant, real estate, mechanics’ liens, and other contract and tort claims. Mike’s clients range from large corporate entities to individuals. While Mike has extensive experience in state and federal court as well as arbitrations, he strives to resolve disputes in an efficient and cost-effective manner with a pragmatic approach to litigation.
Prior to joining West Huntley Gregory, Mike practiced at a large Denver-based law firm. Mike also completed clerkships for the Honorable Raymond P. Moore of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and the Honorable M. Page Kelley of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. As a law clerk, he worked on both civil and criminal matters, which included discovery disputes, dispositive motions, and trials. Before moving to Colorado, Mike spent a decade in Boston where he attended Northeastern University, graduating magna cum laude, and Boston College Law School, where he graduated magna cum laude and was elected to the Order of the Coif.
Mike loves living in the mountains and can be found skiing at the resorts or in the backcountry during the winter and backpacking, mountain biking, fishing, and rock climbing in the summertime.
Mike also enjoys giving back to the community and is actively involved in pro bono legal projects and nonprofit organizations. Mike is a member of the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations and serves on the associate board of the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center.
