Mediation

West Huntley Gregory has litigated many diverse cases through all stages of litigation.
Resolution Through Mediation
Mediation is a voluntary, problem-solving process assisted by a neutral third party. Parties can engage in the mediation process with or without an attorney.
When a dispute or conflict arises, whether it is business, personal, or a bit of both, mediation can often lead to a resolution before the parties spend significant time, energy and financial resources engaged in litigation.
At West Huntley Gregory, we are adept at litigating diverse cases throughout the entire process. We understand the challenges and risks associated with going to trial. Accordingly, we ascribe to a quote attributed to Abraham Lincoln, when he stated “Discourage litigation. Persuade your neighbors to compromise whenever you can.”
Timely Settlement
As a mediator, first and foremost at West Huntley Gregory we listen. We facilitate communication between and among the parties by making sure each party is given time to be heard. We ask questions to ensure we develop a clear understanding of the barriers to resolving the dispute. The parties can then identify ways to remove those barriers.
