Bob’s practice areas include real estate law, business law, homeowner’s associations, civil and commercial litigation, and mediation. Bob also serves as the prosecutor for the Town of Breckenridge.
Bob grew up in rural Indiana, where he enjoyed the benefits of small town life, a quality he particularly cherishes in Breckenridge, his adopted home. Bob attended business school at Indiana University, and upon graduation he and his future wife headed west. After a short career in outdoor education, including a satisfying tenure with the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center, Bob attended law school at the University of Colorado in Boulder.
After several wonderful years in Boulder and Denver, the high country came calling once again. Bob began his legal career as a Deputy District Attorney in Summit County, where he handled misdemeanors, felonies, and juvenile cases. Bob left the District Attorney’s office in late 2013, began working as an associate at West Brown PC in early 2014, and became a shareholder in 2018.
Bob enjoys most outdoor activities the high country has to offer, especially telemark and alpine skiing, extended river trips, and backpacking. Bob plays softball and basketball, and dabbles in poorly executed home improvement projects. Bob and his wife, who teaches art at Summit Cove Elementary, have twin boys who are in perpetual motion.
